Allow me to introduce myself....

I'm a mother, a nurse, a farmer, and a soap maker living  and working with my husband on his ancestral family farm near historic Saratoga Springs, NY.

We're lucky enough to have the opportunity to grow much of our own food, and we share our lives with a manajerie of animals, including colored egg laying chickens, Rosie and Spot the pigs, and a herd of playful and mischievous Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. If you'd like to know more about them, head on over to our farm website at www.RebelWoodHeritageBreeds.net.

Really, the goats are the star of the show, providing us with most of our family's dairy needs, and endless entertainment. We've become so enamoured with our caprine friends, that our little herd has grown over time. So much so that we started to wonder what we would do with all the milk they provide. One holiday season I decided to make soap as gifts for friends and family.

It turns out that goats milk makes a lovely bar of artisinal handmade soap, rich, creamy, and skin loving. Every member of the family agrees: soap made with milk from RebelWood goats is far better than anything in the soap aisle in the store. We now use it exclusively for all our household needs. It's gentle enough for my 2 small children, and at the same time cuts through the grime when my husband comes home with greasy man hands after fixing machinary.

Every small batch is hand crafted with fresh goats milk blended with skin nourishing oils and butters, and none of the industial detergents or sufactants present in most store brands. Our hand cut, hand wrapped bars are allowed to cure for weeks, until they become hard enough and mild enough to be sent to you and your family.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. From our family to yours, we'd like to say thank you!
